I have tried to cut the length per instruction in the user manual at the marked location to set up a new connection but I can't get it to work. I can see the power plug is inserted where the wires are all the way but the light won't turn on after inserting into the power plug cord side. What am I doing wrong? Is there a video showing how it is done to see if I am missing somethung? Thanks. Steve
